The Business Owner's Framework to Getting Unstuck
My key note is based on my real world experience. In 2009 when I started in our family business, it was doing $21 million and lost close to a million bucks. After five of the hardest years I've been through, I helped lead our company through an eight-figure exit. Since then I have spent every waking minute learning what we could have done different. My ten-year therapy session led me to create multiple businesses, start a podcast, travel around the US speaking on hundreds of stages to share my story (Visgage, EO, CEO Nexus, industry associations, etc.), and create an ownership framework for owner-operators (over 1,500 have experienced the material) to help them create the independence they deserve.
Through the Independence by Design™ Ownership Framework, owners can design a business that aligns with the life they want by learning how to generate sustainable cash flow while growing the equity value of their business, they can have the freedom to do more of what they love.

Frequently asked questions
How long is the key note?
A standard key note is an hour long with additional Q&A as optional.
Can the presentation be done virtually?
I have hosted many key notes virutally.
Is there a structured format?
I have a structured hour-long key note. However, I can refine the material to cover many specific topics. The body of my Independence by Design™ material has a lot of depth based on the topics I cover in my trainings (e.g., valuations, financial strategies, exit options, M&A, ESOPs, Private Equity, family transfers, etc.)
What are the costs?
There is a standard speaking fee that includes travel expenses. Depending on the audience, event, and purpose, the costs can vary.
Is there a workshop options?
I have performed over 50 four hour workshops (typically a half day session) that go well for smaller groups (e.g., Vistage, EO, business peer groups).
Is there a standard format and topic outline for podcasts?
I can keep to the outline of the key note for a guest podcast interview. My favorite format is a free flowing conversation lead by a curious host that is passionate about the topics I speak on.
